The teaser trailer of charmingly chilly new wave gothic horror 'Dark Vision' has just been released.   Bernie Hodges plays lead role of Spencer Knights in this forthcoming feature film from Stray Spark productions.

CASSANDRA WILLIAMSON IN 'PROTEST'

Cassandra Williamson will be at the Barbican, Plymouth, on 2nd March, in 'Protest', by Pilots Thumb Theatre - a powerful docu-drama that explores the voice of protest, inspired by the sentencing in Russia of punk band Pussy Riot. In February, Cassandra also reprised her role of 'Jessica' in 'Touched' at The Rhondo Theatre, Bath.
Williamson and Hewlett are talented actors who can ably handle both comedy and the bleakest notes. Beautifully played… instantly credible and compelling. (The Guardian)

AISLING TIERNEY: BINGO AD VO & BBC 5 INTERVIEW

Aisling Tierney did the voiceover for Rehab Bingo's TV ad campaign in the UK and Ireland.
A movie memorabilia expert, she was also interviewed on 5 Live and other BBC Radio stations in December about the iconic piano from film 'Casablanca', which was up for auction.

ALEXIS MCDOUGALL: AMERICAN TV PILOT & MACMILLAN

On 26th November Alexis McDougall did a rehearsed reading and live streamed online broadcast of American TV pilot 'Posse', by Derek Olson and directed by Wilson Milam at the Google campus.
She also narrated audio for Macmillan Publishers.

AISLING TIERNEY: IRISH GAELIC LANGUAGE APP

Aisling Tierney is also a fluent Irish Gaelic speaker.
In December she voiced the forthcoming Nemo Apps Irish Gaelic language learning app, available soon on iTunes. The audio was produced by inimitable.

DAVID ALEXANDER VOs: MUSEUM OF LONDON & HIRING HUB

David Alexander can be heard at the Museum of London's exhibition 'Doctors, Dissection and Resurrection Man', playing the role of a Whig Peer in a historical parliamentary debate on dissection. He also recorded the voiceover for Hiring Hub's video.

Bernie Hodges did further voice of god recordings for L'Oreal, this time for the L'Oreal Professional Autumn/Winter Catwalk Showcases, and for the Matrix Live Tour 2013 - both audio produced by inimitable.
Bernie also did VOs for a Mobile Merchant pre-roll and a Novartis medical video.

DAVID ALEXANDER WINS ROSE BOWL AWARD FOR BEST ACTOR

David Alexander has won The John Lewis Rose Bowl Award for Best Actor (Drama), for his stage role as Sir Thomas More in 'A Man for All Seasons' earlier this year.   The play also won 'Best Production'.   His multi-award-winning October evening continued with The Kelvin Players Milton Johns Trophy for Best Performance 2012.   (It's David's 2nd Rose Bowl Award - he won Best Supporting Actor in 2009, playing Barnabas Goche in 'The Herbal Bed').

inimitable audio-produced four voiceovers of technical B2B film presentations for Balfour Beatty - voiced by Andrew Collins and Bernie Hodges between June and August.   And Richard Heathcote voiced a 20-minute technical film presentation for NES (Nuclear Engineering Services Ltd).   inimitable's director, Suzanna van Moyland, script-edited for both, adjusting and smoothing the scripts so that they sounded more natural when voiced.

CHARLOTTE ELLIS IN OLYMPIC OPENING CEREMONY & AT THE COLSTON HALL

Charlotte Ellis was invited to perform at The Colston Hall in 'The Complete Re-works of Shakespeare' as part of The Bristol Shakespeare Festival in July.   She devised three pieces 'Women of Rhyme and Reason' based on female characters in Shakespeare - Juliet, Helena and Lady Macbeth.
And... she also performed in the finale of the Olympic Opening Ceremony as part of the mass movement piece directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting).

Charlotte Ellis played the lead role in 'Wind' - which won the 0117 Encounters Film Challenge in May, awarded by IMDb's Col Needham and Aardman's David Sproxton.   The comedy short is now part of 'The Hansel of Film' Festival, curated by Mark Kemode and shown in venues across the country from the Shetland Islands to Southampton.   Watch it here...

NORTH AMERICAN ACTOR ALEXIS MCDOUGALL JOINS INIMITABLE

Alexis McDougall, actor and voice artist, joined inimitable in March.   Since graduating from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she's had principle roles in 'Headlines' (picture), 'Remarkable Trees' and starred in the Solstice12 book series promo films.   Her natural Toronto accent is the same as standard American, plus she plays regional American roles requiring a stronger accent.
