With over 30 years’ professional experience, Bernie Hodges is an actor, voice artist and audio producer whose work spans animation, television, film, gaming, documentary and audio drama. His distinctive, versatile voice has featured in productions for BBC Worldwide and National Geographic, alongside campaigns for brands including Audi, L’Oréal, HSBC, Zurich and the General Medical Council. Known for bringing warmth, intelligence and character to his work, Bernie specialises in performance-led voice acting, narration and storytelling across a wide range of media. Alongside voice work, Bernie has appeared in numerous stage and screen roles, earning Best Male Actor at the Two Days of Laughter Film Festival for his performance in The Interview. He is co-creator, producer and co-host of the award-winning podcast What, That Old Queen?!, and has produced audio projects for organisations including the University of Bristol, Watershed, Tom Marshman and Culture Weston. A passionate advocate for creative collaboration and performance craft, Bernie teaches voice-over and voice acting at Bristol School of Acting, supporting the next generation of performers while continuing to develop his own work as an actor and audio maker.
